Who We Are
Fulk Shipping is an Egyptian shipbroking and chartering company backed by ten years of practical experience since 2016, including coaster- and handy-size fixtures for dry bulk, breakbulk, and project cargo.
Our experience covers Egyptian export and import trades connecting the Mediterranean, Black Sea, Red Sea, West Africa, and the Americas, including cement, urea, steel, grains, MDF, and other industrial cargoes.
We check the cargo, ports, dates, and handling requirements.
We approach relevant owners and operators for workable vessel options.
We coordinate freight and charter-party terms between the parties.
We follow the negotiation through subjects, fixture, and recap.
Our Name & Values
Fulk (فُلك) is an Arabic word for ship or vessel, used in the Qur'an in passages that speak of ships sailing through the sea. We chose it for its connection to our Arab and Islamic roots and its direct relevance to the maritime field in which we work.
For us, the name is a lasting reminder of the values we seek to embody in our work: integrity in our dealings, clarity in communication, and responsibility in execution—without exaggeration or claims beyond the standard of service we strive to deliver each day.
إِنَّ فِي خَلۡقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱخۡتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلَّتِي تَجۡرِي فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ بِمَا يَنفَعُ ٱلنَّاسَ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن مَّآءٖ فَأَحۡيَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٖ وَتَصۡرِيفِ ٱلرِّيَٰحِ وَٱلسَّحَابِ ٱلۡمُسَخَّرِ بَيۡنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ ١٦٤
“Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind] of moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason.”
